The food was really good, but the place looks dirty, I just wonder how their kitchen looks like and how the food was prepared. Review #21588

A lot of their foods were too greasy, but tasted good. The prices were reasonable, too. Service, however was terrible and the server did not even smile the whole time we were there. But the fish and crab we ordered satisfied all of us. We left full and happy with our meal. Review #21556

The food is good, my favorite are their sweet and sour pork and chili crab. The place though does not look that clean and sanitary. I wonder how their kitchen looks like. The thought of it , makes me sick.. Review #21530

This restaurant SUCKS! Food is acceptable, BUT the service is TOTALLY SCREWED! 1st(AND LAST) time we went to this place was a weekend, to chow after a night's hangout. We went in,sat down, took our orders-no problems. After 3mins we asked for the menu to order some appetizers, the waiter told us that they will not give the menu bec. they're closing in a FEW MINS! After 7mins of getting our orders, the same FREAKIN waiter asked us to pay bec. they will close the cash register. We had told him to wait since we barely tasted our food yet, but like FLIES,he (& others) keep on asking, so we ended up paying so that they would back off and for us to enjoy our food, after 5mins,another waiter came & started WIPIN our tables while we're still eatin. He even started TAKIN one of my friend's plate off who just paused eatin to start a conversation. MY POINT: CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT EXIST IN THIS RESTAURANT Review #18866

I don't really like the food here... but if you want something chinese late at night in chinatown, this is probably one of the few places that is still open. I guess you get some you lose some. Review #17841

I have to agree with the last post, this is one my favorite places to go after a night of clubbin on broadway. Hahaha its so close and the food is pretty good. I usually get the beef noodle soup. The place is pretty crowded and sometimes u might be sitting with someone you dont know but then a again its a small chinese restaurant so its bound to happen. The service is decent, not rude or anything, and it could be a little more cleaner. But sometimes the dirtiest places are the tastiest places. Review #16182

I always go to this restaurant after a long time night of clubbing. The sticky rice in lotus leaf is really good somber-me-up food. The clams in black bean sauce is pretty good with plenty of plump clams. The price is reasonable and service is typical of most asian hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Another plus, the restaurant is open until 3am. Review #15968

Ate the chow fun (white ribbon noodles) and it was pretty tasty but place is below my standards of cleanliness, espy. as I grow older and care more about a restaurant's cleanliness. Decent if you are starving and don't know where else to go, and you are short on change. Review #13712

Some of the worst chinese food (and of course service) I've had. Ordered crab which was mediocre at best and overpriced. Sweet and sour pork and one other vegetable dish was pretty awful. There are just so many other restaurants in that neighbourhood that are much better. Review #12839

Best thing about this place is the fact that it's open late; the food is very mediocre. Actually, if my friends were not obsessed with chinese food, I personally would not suggest this place. Review #8499

My friend told me to go and what to order. I didn't get what she said, and I thought it sucked. I told her and she knew straight away that I didn't follow her advice. I went back and got what she said and have been a huge fan ever since. The best things: salt and pepper squid, clams in black bean sauce, scrambled eggs with shrimp, peking spare ribs, fish soup, lobster and crab. I'm sure there's other great stuff, but those are my favorites. VERY INFORMAL. Not stylish or romantic, simply delicious. Love the Yuet!!! (aka "coca-cola" for the sign out front.) Review #8071

I've eaten at this greasy corner chinese restaurant on the North Beach/Chinatown border. The seafood is fresh, but many of the dishes are a little greasy. Not necessarily a bad thing if you're trying to sober up from partying on Broadway. It's open LATE which is always a good thing, and there is an old a** photo of a young Emeril Legasse standing next to the owner which always make me crack up which downing some seafood. Always busy but I've never had to wait. Review #6115

I have eaten here a few times...and have never been inspired. It is open late---ALWAYS a bonus in my book. The food has been standard---nothing special, greasy. I think this used to be a great place to go---it's just lost it's momentum Review #6051

I love this place. I always order a fresh whole fish. They will bring you the fish (alive) to your table before preparing it. It is usually steamed w/ a light soy sauce. In & out service. Review #2917

The thing to order here is the seafood. The lobster is great. We also enjoy the steamed rock cod, salt & pepper calamari, salt & pepper and prawns, and the peking duck. It's a good place to go with a big group and order dishes you wouldn't ordinarily get for just two people. Review #1769
