“
Viva Mexico" Well that is what I like to say every time I visit here. Well ok..perhaps not out loud to make a spectacle, but that is what I am thinking! A friend of mine that was in Dental School at UCSF turned me on to this place. Ever since then, when I am in the area I will make it here. I love their burritos! You know this place is clean, authentic and a value. Fresh salsa's..and exceptional inexpensive food! exceptional value. ”

“
My current vote for best taqueria in the city. The guys who work there are friendly, the place is bright and clean, and the food is incredible. There is something magic in their chorizo, so if you are a fan, this is your spot. Recently had a fish burrito as I am trying to cut down on the red meat, and I didn't miss a thing. The fish was fresh, chopped up before my eyes, pan sauteed, then charred on the grill. Fantastic. Carne asada and chicken are exceptional as well. Roasted tomato salsa is very nice. Highly highly recommended. ”

“ Their burrito is definitely a cut above the rest. First of all, they grill the tortilla, which makes it flakey and luscious, and while it is grilling they melt the cheese onto it. That already puts it way ahead of your standard burrito. You can also get fresh avocado instead of guac. Mmmmmm... Located on a weird stretch of Church St. next to Safeway, but worth seeking out.

“ I'd go here several times a week when Church/Market was my commute stop - great burritos and quesadillas... I'd say best burrito outside of the mission. Order with avocado, instead of guacamole, as it's a bit runny. There seems to be a ventriloquist with a penchant for cat meows working in the back - pretty funny. ”

“ Really good burritos al pastor. Greasy...grease running down your hands greasy, but that's not until you get to the end and pull of that last bit of tin foil. The burritos are huge and they could probably do with a bit less rice and beans, but they have lots of options...meat, what kind of tortilla, hot sauce or mild, three kinds of beans, and of course the salsa bar and yes, the salsa verde is delicious. I would buy that stuff by the jar! Also, the service here is pretty fast. There's often a line, but it moves quickly. I like this location better than the one on 18th St. ”

“ I've been here because a friend lives nearby and I've done the Grab and Go here a couple of times. Not bad, but it's not even near the caliber of some of the Taquerias in the Mission. The carne asada was okay...but a tasty taco con todos @ La Taqueria or a burrito @ Pancho Villa isn't too far away. ”

“ Their veggie burritos leave a bit to be desired. My buddy got a breakfast churrizo burrito here and we were both in absolute disbelief in regard to how much orange grease came out of the thing. It must have been at least a half cup (no exaggerating). I'd head a couple doors down to Casa mexicana. ”

“ delicious burritos for $3 - 5. their chicken is especially flavorful for a grab-and-go burrito place. i love the fact that they have three types of salsa (serve yourself): that avocado/salsa verde salsa common at SF burrito joints, plus two chunky pico de gallo salsas, one with jalapenos and one without. ”

“ I like this place to get a burrito to go. They have at least 4 kinds of tortillas and the burritos are the best in the immediate area. I also like the avacado/tomatillo salsa they have out. ”
