Everything at Osha is very rich, spicy and well seasoned, but strangely all the dishes are sweet. The coconut soup was the best thing I thought. The spring roll was a bit bland, but not greasy. The Panang curries are very good. They also have a nice lunch special here, $9 gets you soup, a half appetizer, and an entree with rice. Review #20687

Osha is a great place to grab a good meal late at night, open till midnight they serve up fast hot(if you like) thai food with a slight bent toward fusion cooking, Pumpkin red curry, thai samosas and all manner or standard tradition thai curries and noodle soups, quick wait staff always ready to fill your glass to douse the fire in your mouth. prices slightly high on appetizers, and drinks but on par for lunch and dinner mains. The place is small but doesn't usually have a wait for a table, pleasant but they could turn their drum and bass music down for a slightly more pleasant volume in the restaurant. Review #17500

Had a long lunch with a friend and was not rushed, or hovered over. Decor is trendy and attractive. Did not like the metal chairs, my shoes kept getting caught in the bottom. Had the $9 lunch, with soup of the day, appetizer and main. Soup was a, too rich for my taste, vegetable soup. I selected the crispy veggie roll as my appetizer. Wonderful. Light, thin crispy wrapper that was oh so slightly greasy, but not heavy. Main was mixed veggies with chicken. Perfect ratio of tender tasty chicken to perfectly cooked and seasoned mixed veggies. It was excellent. Jasmine rice was prepared perfectly and I am picky about my rice. thai ice tea was good & in a lovely glass. Food was served on a long rectangular plate, with the main in a square bowl flanked by the appetizer and the fragrant jasmine rice. Presentation was very pleasing. Staff was attentive, friendly and very smart in appearance. Will definitely be returning time and again. Review #15724

I've only ordered the Mission Osha from Waiters on Wheels. It's pretty good, but it's thai food for white people. The Tom Kha seafood soup, instead of having fish cake and fish balls (like in the TL location) has mussels and salmon (both of which become dry hanging out in the soup for that long). I'd like to say I'll go test the place out, but why would I? The same amount of travel time gets me to the one on Geary and Leav... Review #15213

Great thai food. I was surprised once again by the ambiance of this place (just like the one at 2nd Street). The prices were a bit higher than other thai restaurants, but the taste and the portions really made up for it. My friends from out-of-town thought the food was delicious. Review #14542

I am completely in love with this restaurant, I just wish I had more money to spend there. The food isn't cheap, but I definitely think you get what you pay for. My dishes are always fresh, healthy and delicious. So so so good. And the wait staff is really nice, too. I fully love this restaurant. Review #13305

Tremendous surprise. I had low expectations for this place as I thought the decor would most likely outshine the food. I was wrong. Pumpkin tofu curry was dreamy, coconut rice was yum. Mango salad was so good with fresh mint and lemon grass. Reasonably priced and nicely sized portions. warning: if you ask for medium spicy, you will get a pretty hot dish! Review #13056

I've heard so many great things about thai Osha Noodles that i was actually pretty disappointed the first time. I've been back and its been fine, so all in all I'm neutral. its a teeny bit pricier than it'd like, can get uncomfortably crowded (i was practically sitting in a stranger's lap last time) and is a little chilly (both the temperature and the decor) but the food is really pretty good. Osha offers trendy surroundings and amazingly delicious thai food, and, in this case, I'm a very picky eater since I eat a lot of thai food!!! Dishes to try include: Pumpkin curry, veggie summer rolls, and Salmon Satay. These dishes are not only delicious, but beautifully prepared and presented... and, as other reviewers mentioned, it's fast. Almost too fast; Osha offers an experience you want to savor! Review #9971

Great food--especially when you're drunk at 2am. My one question: the food always comes out super fast--seemingly the minute after I order--how's that possible? I've never been there for a normal dinner, so I can't comment on the actual quality of the food. But it gets two thumbs up for being open late, actually making food "thai spicy" when you request it, and being far better than King of thai. Review #8785

Ate here with two friends, and we were surprised by how good the food was. The mod decor and dress of the wait staff prepared us for a pretentious & underwhelming offering...we were mistaken. The food is innovative, tasty, fresh, and the portions are large, so make sure you're really hungry when you go. Prices reasonable given the quality and portion size. Would easily go again. The best thai in the Mission by FAR. The decor alone is worth the visit (feels like a trendy LA spot - my friend designed it and it's gorgeous). The food is really fresh and incredibly flavorful. Try the thai samosas, the salmon satay, and the pumpkin curry and you will be hooked on this place. I am a huge thai fan, and have been to most in the city, this place is not to be missed. How can you not love this place? It's trendy, fun, the food is presented beautifully (if you care about that sort of thing), and it's delicious. The food is FAR better than any other thai restaurant in the area and the price is cheap considering all you'll get and enjoy. Review #5438

This is definitely more upscale than the Tenderloin location. The food selection, decor, and overall atmosphere are more trendy and unique compared to the original location. It's also a bit more expensive. It felt swanky sitting in here. The food was excellent! Yes, Osha thai is another great place for thai food, probably one of the best in the City. I had the pumpkin curry ...the flavors were wonderful, which made this dish delicious and unique. I went with a group of 8, so Osha's is very accomodating for group dining. My friends and I shared the chicken satay, spring rolls, and green papaya salad. I would recommend it all. My friends all really enjoyed the place. We were celebrating 2 birthdays, so Osha dimmed the lights inside the restaurant, brought out our Bananas Foster with a candle, and the whole place sang happy birthday to my friends. I think my friends felt very special after that. Go here if you can. Definitely recommended place! Review #5147

Funky, fun atmosphere and the food is tasty. Make reservations on the weekends if you have a big party because it is always crowded. Love the green curry, pad thai, volcano beef (so tender).. then again I haven't tried anything we didn't like. If you have room try the bananna spring rolls and coconut ice cream! Review #3766

This is a really great thai restaurant with a large menu and a funky atmosphere. Their Jetsons chairs and cool tables make you feel like you're at a trendy bar. But the food has all the basics that I look for in a thai restaurant, along with some new dishes that are awesome, and it's all fairly inexpensive. Definitely worth a trip. Review #3568

Dang, I had the pumpkin curry with shrimp. Wow. The green papaya salad was excellent -- red hot and soothing at the same time. Very nice. The decor is interesting... some parts work, but then other parts didn't. Overall, I'd definitely return. Review #3201

I was surprised when this hip and trendy spot appeared in the Mission. I was thrilled to find it very tasty and reasonably priced. This is now my favorite neighborhood spot fot thai. I also like the way the menu lists several options and you choose the type of meat. The variety of flavored rices is also very interesting. Review #2092
