“ Not inexpensive, but the food is disappointing. The pineapple chicken rice had only a few pieces of chicken and it was greasy. I have tried eating the same food before, it was good. But this time, I was not satisfied. ”

“ Love their pineapple fried rice. The cashews and raisins just add so much to the flavor. Not dry, not oily either. I'm so grateful that they open super late, esp on the weekend, till 2am at least. Sometimes you get home late from a night out you know and are just too hungry to go to sleep :)

“ I was a little under whelmed by this place as I think I was expecting more based on prior reviews. The bare, stark interior is not very welcoming or comfortable and can be pretty noisy when crowded as it was the evening I went for dinner. The food itself was very fresh tasting. We ordered the duck curry which was much more curry sauce than duck albeit tasty. The papaya salad was delicious. However, a grilled pork salad was very boring and was still boring after we asked the server if there wasn't something he could do to make it more flavorful. We ended up doctoring it up with sauces from other dishes. Service was okay. I don't know as I would go out of my way to return here. It is very convenient for dinner before a show at one of the Geary Street theaters.

“ After serving jury duty I was ready for some lunch. I've heard so much about Osha and I love thai, that it was an obvious choice. Not much to look at from the outside, inside minimalist modern black tables and chairs, a TV and a shrine. I sat down parched from the walk and immediately was served water, it's a small thing but one I appreciate, I'm a thirsty girl. I ordered a thai Iced Tea, Tom Ka Soup and the Red Duck Curry. The iced tea was huge but too sweet and over creamed, I'm picky about my tea. The soup was good, could have used a bit more lemon grass and I like it with tomatoes and fresh cilantro but it was enjoyable. The duck was very nice, big chucks of pineapple and tomatoes, duck was tender and flavorful yet not so plentiful. Service was spot on, really friendly and on top of refilling my water, YES! Total was $27 including tip, which was enough food for three meals.

“
I've been eating at this original of 3 locations for over 6 years now. I still have yet to have a disappointing experience here. Don't be afraid to try any of the dishes as most of them are tasty. It's also an easy going place to go to when you want to introduce thai to someone who hasn't tried it before. The crowds are always interesting and it won't hit you in the pocket too hard. ”

“ My favorite dish is the Duck curry, but you can't go wrong with any of the curry dishes here. Get the Taro rolls as an appetizer. Green Papaya salad has too much vinegar and is pretty spicy. Phat See You is one of my favorite noodle dishes here. Great for a late night fix, as they're open until 3am on the weekends.

“ They have good Pad thai here, i also like the sweat and sour salmon. I used to go there a lot when i used to live in downtown. The service is is also much more friendly than the other thai restaurant at the other corner.

“ OSHA is my all time favorite thai restaurant, I have been going there consistently for the past 10 years. Overall, the food is well seasoned, flavorful, good sized portions and friendly service. It's open till 3 am on the weekend, which makes it the perfect spot for a late night snack. The Pad thai Noodles, Beef Green Curry and the Combination Fried Rice are all outstanding. Best of all, they will make any dish as spicy as you want, if you request it when you order. Considering I rarely eat at the same restaurant twice, OSHA is a keeper. I have tried the entire menu several times over. Absolute value for your money! Try it and see for yourself.

“ Very good thai food. Loved the Green Beans with Duck. However I was looking forward to the Papaya salad which proved disappointing. Wanted authentic, I a received watered down version. ”

“ The best place for getting thai noodle soup. Fabulous blend of spices that will clear your sinuses. Great when you have a cold.
The other dishes I've had there have been good, but nothing special.
The place is filled with booths - nice if you go with a group of friends. This place is always busy, so service is not exactly the most cordial. But they are fast. Open late. ”

“ Service here is fast but if you are looking for Mr. or Ms. personality they aren't at this tenderloin noodle shop. I like the chicken tom yum as well as the duck noodle soup. The thai ice tea is also good here ...maybe a little too much condensed milk. I always go here at least once when I visit. Hot definitely means hot so if you aren't a fan of spicy ask them to tone it down. They are open til 3 am on fri/sat which is a plus. ”

“ This is my absolute favorite thai restaurant in the city. Beware: you're not going to have some sort of upscale dining experience for your subtle palette here. Their Tom Ka seafood is the coolest thing ever, with fishballs and fishcake and squid--and also their two curry dishes (Yellow Sea Curry and something else with Salmon) are frikkin' awesome. I've never had a bad dish here. And I went here at least once a week for 6 years. ”

“ I really like this place. The food is great - homestyle. A few of the dishes were the closest to the dishes I had in thailand than other thai restaurants. I really like the Osha Fried Egg (very homestyle). Unfortunately, they don't carry that at the SOMA restaurant. (I haven't been to the Mission one)... i guess the dish is not quite fancy enough for their newer locations. ”

“ Great thai place to go at night since they're open til 2am. Food is decent and reasonably priced. Service could use some work; the waiters always look bored and don't speak much, only amongst themselves. Service is definitely quick-they want you in-and-out as fast as they can. Usually pretty packed in there. I like the fish cakes, thai spicy pan fried noodles. They make the best thai iced teas but always add too much ice. Not in a great neighborhood and parking is almost impossible, but the food is worth it, depending on what you order. ”

“ This place used to be good, but not anymore. They have friendly greeters, but their waiters are just too bored to try. The dish "chinese broccoli with roast pork" used to be terrific, but now the pork isn't crispy, it's soggy! My friends had the lamb chops (not very thai at all, are they confused?) and the spicy eggplant which looked chinese to me. Anywho, if you can't find a place to eat during the wee hours, I guess you can put up with Osha, otherwise - Avoid, avoid, avoid. ”

“ Heard good things about the restaurant, always looked packed as I drove by...so I took my boo there for a quick bite. Tried several dishes that proved disappointing. Papaya salad, poor, several of the noodle dishes were quite greasy which can be good sometimes...this was not one of them. The plus side is, it was inexpensive. ”

“ Good late-night place to grab a bite in the Tenderloin. Parking can be difficult to find, and the neighborhood isn't the best. My friends who've been going here for a while have said the quality has gone down recently, though it still seems fine to me. ”

“ Great thai food. Atmosphere isn't that great, but it's pretty decent for being in the Tenderloin. Parking can definitely be difficult. I also like the fact that it's open past midnight. ”

“ One of the best thai restaurants that I've tried. Before this restaurant, I hated thai food. Green papaya salad is very good, and you can order it as spicy as you'd like. I've heard the thai chicken wings are good as well. I like their soups (especially the coconut soups) and their curries - any kind. A perfect place to go after a night out on the town, as it is opened very late (till 2 or 3 i believe). decor is drab, it's in a bad neighborhood, and the place looks dirty, but bottom line, it's good thai food. I want to try the Osha's Mission District location sometime soon. ”
