Good pizza, but not such a nice environment to hang out.

I'm really happy that my hood has attracted a great new restaurants like Pacific Catch. They serve an assortment of seafood in a variety of styles in a very modern setting. I had an order of the California Rolls, crab salad and Shrimp Teriyaki bowl. All were over sized portions and delicious. This was way too much food to order. The service was beyond my expectation. A full bar added to overall experience. No buts, I recommend going there. Good prompt service, tasty food and great drink options make Pacific Catch the darling of the inter Sunset. Review #21042

Very LA formula. Each sauce tastes like its from a jar or pre-fab. Even the deserts tastes like they could be bought at TJoes. Clean, nice staff, and pretty inside but this is not an San Francisco level place. Review #20875

I have to say I didn't know anything about Pacific Catch...I did know they had a location in the Marina...then i saw this one in my hood show up and i thought...oh it's a chain. Well i decided to check it out anyway as I had some time to kill. We'll its not a chain. There are now a total of 3...and the cool thing is they only serve seafood that is on the 'green light" list. (i.e. not farmed or overfished. etc) They also composte, recycle, use bamboo in their restaurants...etc...trying to be as green as possible AND they are affordable...everything is under $15. I had the fried tilapia w/ sweet potato fries. The fries were OMG good. The fish was good but lacking a bit of flavour...i hate to say it but just a splash of salt would probably perk it up. My bartender Brad was EXCELLENT...super upbeat and fun. I think this is the face of the future of restaurants. I will go back in a heart beat...I love they are trying to be ecologically conscience. All around fantastic decor, food and drinks. I had the three way aji and even having eaten some pretty darn good poke in Kauai, the quality of what they use here is outstanding. It's not to be missed. Their slaw and asian salad were special, too. My dining partner had the fried basket and the fish and oyster were great. We both felt that the coconut shrimp was too sweet. cocktails were nice and strong. We had the asperagus as an appetizer and it was very good. The down side to the evening was how fast everything was which works if you're ravenous, but not if you're on a date. Review #20545
