“ This restaurant is new and has gotten very good press. We went there for lunch. It's in a location which has housed several sort of seedy and unsuccessfull restaurants in the past few years. The decor is lovely. At lunch on weekdays, in addition to the a la carte menu, they offer a 2-course "power lunch for $15 dollars. Unfortunately only two of the appetizer courses are centered on vegetables, a mung bean sprout chaat, which my companion got and a house salad, which looked pretty ordinary on paper. The mung beans were barely sprouted, and the dish was sweet with not much of any herb or spice nuance. I got the chicken tikka appetizer, which was tender and well cooked with a side of almost unseasoned cucumber salad. We got the flat iron steak, which was tender and cooked perfectly with a pomegranite molasses sauce and the spice cooked salmon in a banana leaf. Again, the raw ingredients were high quality and well prepared, but almost devoid of any added spice or flavors. ”
