Good pizza, but not such a nice environment to hang out.

I've been here three times and have enjoyed the salad, the pizza and the pasta. The only 'problem' is that sometimes I stop by for a meal and it's closed. It's loud and noisy and satisfying. Review #20541

When we lived near by, we ate here until we were sick of the place. The food is good. Nothing is spectacular, just solid. The atmosphere is really relaxed and fun. Lot's of families and people just having a good time. Even the grumpies in the crowd have to grin when everyone in the place sings happy birthday (the real one, not some chain restaurant we are afraid to get sued version) to someone and the Zza's sign lights up. This is especially true after a few decent house wines from a water glass. Review #16580

Had dinner last night with my girls :0) Right after getting some pedicures at the Nail Store---also a great spot! Anyway....cute local spot with yummy food. All thier pastas are homemade. We had the antipasti...not a traditional one by any means . Had 3 types of meat, some olives, sauteed squash (thats a bit odd---though a fine addition) phyllo---stuffed with something---not sure, didnt much care for it. and risotto cakes which were rather tasty. I had the pizza of the day which was pancetta, asparagus, creamy potatos and truffle oil. THe crust was excellent---rolled in corn meal i think and the flavours were great together. My friends had the gnocci (YUMMY, WITH A slighly spicy garlic and tomato based sauce and the spaghetti with a meat sauce. Mains averaged around $14. The 500ml of house wine was $10. Overall a cute not too expensive spot, with a lot of homemade pastas. Worth a shot if you are in the neighbourhood. Review #13117
