“ good rolls for a good price, although service can be pretty bad sometimes, not to mention the long wait. best time to go is lunch on a weekday. good place to get a sushi fix. I usually don't eat the other stuff (bento box, entrees, etc) as its cheaper and better at other places. ”

“ Everyone's giving sushi House a positive, but I have to give it a negative. The sushi is fresh enough, it just doesn't have that "sublime" quality that I look for in sushi spots. There are ridiculous lines but easy parking because of the large lot and long waits...they crowds come in for the giant sized rolls which will leave you stuffed due to the volume of food(lotsa rice in those rolls) and the low price. This is not a place to get your nigiri sushi or sashimi. If I want that much rice with my yellow tail or tuna, you can order a couple bowls of rice and order the sashimi instead because that's what it will amount to.

“ sushi House is so good and so affordable. We frequently order the special rolls, although their cooked entrees are pretty decent as well. You get these huge rolls, priced from $5-$10. And the ingredients are very fresh as well. We always get the Bay Scallop roll (this is a must try), Island Roll, Lion King, Poki Roll, and Cherry Blossom. The only qualm I have about this place is the wait. Always a line, no matter what day of the week and probably even the time. Expect an hour to hour and a half wait during peak hours. You write down your name on this list and wait with the other hordes of people in the lobby area. Nice view of the water though, and I heard you can make reservations for the outside patio, just make sure it's a nice day!

“ Really affordable.. there is a line always, especially during lunch hours. I always order the Lion King roll and Webster roll. There is a huge parking lot so you won't have to look for parking. ”

“ I'll have to give a positive rating just for the volume of food you get. It's definitely monster size sushi at rock bottom prices... though I can't stand how they put mayonaisse over everything! Don't come here looking for beautiful sushi... most plates are a mount of rice, that are haphazardly squished together and end up somewhat resembling a roll... actually, they're more like logs. ”

“ Every time I come visit my brother at Berkeley, we always have to grab lunch here. Go early because there will be a long wait. Their Chirashi sushi is extremely good and extremely FRESH! I also love their Samurai Roll (tuna, unagi, cucumber, crab meat, and topped with salmon, avocado and their house special sauce.$8.95) They serve some really BIG portions.
