“ Couleur Café offers a large selection of mussels, one of my favorite traditional french bistro offerings. There is nothing like a huge bowl of fresh mussels in a savory broth with a crust of bread for dipping, yum! So I was thrilled to see 5-6 styles of mussels on the lunch menu. I settled on the Couleur house mussels served in a cream broth with bacon and herbs. The rich broth was perfect with the warm baguette that was brought to the table. Couleur also boasts outdoor, dog friendly seating, a small free parking lot and charming helpful french wait staff. Good wine list. An area for improvement would be the outdoor space, especially since we will have a few nice days to sit outside soon, I would like to see Couleur beef up their landscaping. I was sitting next to a terribly deprived brown half-dead shrub, then when I looked around most of the plants on the patio were in need of some attention or replacing. I'm sure to return for the mussels and hope to see an upgraded garden patio. ”
