“Terrible tasting bagels and bagel sandwiches that resemble airport food. Why go here when Katz's bagels is just 20 minutes, if you walk, or 7 minutes if you drive? Those are real bagels. These are fake: spongy, (like your teeth ripping through plastic). Ick. Service is perfunctory at best, though the line moves quickly. ”

“My friend and I liked being out in the sun at the Markerbar while having white wine and some appetizers. But when the bill came, we felt bad because the prices were just beyond what we expected, they were too high. The location is good being in the Ferry building and by the Embarcadero St., but still they are so overpriced.

“I liked the spring roll and the sushi here, but service was really slow, you'll get hungry in between courses. The prices were reasonable considering the nice location. But my sad experience with its bad service was itself a big turn off.

“This is a bit pricey restaurant.. food was not that good and service was too slow. While it was nice to sit outside and view of passersby was enjoyable, the cost of the food was not worth it.

“Saw this on KQED's program and it looked inviting. This place is right out of the old movies. Lot's of fun people, families and crowds all having a good time. The waiters are pros, most of them working there for years. I had the fired calimari plate for an appetizer and veal piccata. Both were excellent and both were good sized portions which I was able to take home for lunch the next day!
Prices or reasonable and the bar makes the best Vodka Gimlets at the wharf.
Parking is on top of Safeway or hop the Cablecar! ”
